Primate Experience
Learn about the fascinating world of primates, from the bushbaby to the patas monkey to the lemurs of madagascar, the primates at BZP are sure to inspire awe! Guests will visit with staff to learn the daily care required in maintaining primate troops, developing daily enrichment projects, and assist staff in delivering an enrichment activity for the primates to enjoy. For the safety of the animals, there will be no direct contact between guests and primates. Some species who may be included in the experience: white faced capuchins, black capped capuchins, or ring tailed lemur.
Please note:
- ALL tours and experiences are weather dependent, in the case of inclement weather, staff will contact all scheduled tours to be rescheduled at the earliest convenience of the guest.
- Depending on the time of year, not all species may be available for behind-the-scenes activities. The best time to experience our reptile activities will be from April to September.
- There will be no direct contact between guests and primates.
- Peanuts, and other tree nuts are included in the daily diets of many primate species. If you or your family member is allergic or has a sensitivity to nuts, please take this into consideration when booking.
