About Us
A small facility, with big goals. Broadway Zoological Park plans to truly make a difference in the lives of endangered and threatened animals, as well as provide an opportunity for the local community to engage, learn, and love some of the planet’s rarest species. Come feed a giraffe, feel the wings of a parakeet, understand the weight of the world’s largest tortoises, and spend the afternoon surrounded by family and friends. We can’t wait to share this and so much more with you at Broadway Zoological!
As a veteran owned facility, Broadway Zoological Park prides itself in honoring the men and women who have served our country. We look forward to many special events and festivals geared towards active and inactive military personnel and their families. Please follow the park on Facebook for updates on our event calendar!
While conservation and education are two of our most prevalent goals, the park also provides homes to those in need and when applicable, rescue efforts. Several of our animals have been rescued or rehomed to the park after their previous homes could no longer care for them appropriately. For example, did you know that Broadway Zoological Park has one of the largest natural habitats for alligators in the state? All of the alligators housed onsite are rescues that would have otherwise been euthanized. Here at Broadway Zoological Park, these animals are able to live out the rest of their lives both happily and healthily, and educate the public on the importance of letting the wild be wild. These wonderful creatures, as well as many more, are just an example of the impact Broadway Zoological Park hopes to have on the lives of animals in need. Please join us for a Keeper Talk to learn more about the fantastic animals in our care!

KultureCity Partnership
Broadway Zoological Park is proud to announce its partnership with KultureCity! This certification strives to improve the park’s ability to assist and accommodate sensory processing needs. The staff at Broadway Zoological Park is equipped with resources such as sensory bags, weighted lap pads, noise cancelling
headphones, designated quiet zones, and other sensory tools to assist our guests.
Sensory bags and other resources are available for checkout (at no cost by leaving an ID) at the park’s front entrance Ticket Booth.
The park has multiple designated “Quiet Zones.” These areas are notably quieter, have covered seating, or are indoors. They provide space to regroup and decompress if needed. Quiet Zone locations are noted on the facility map, and can be found near the Picnic Shelter and crocodile enclosures.
Areas of the park that may be exceptionally noisy, will be designated with “Headphone Zone” signage and described on the park’s Social Story. These areas include the ruffed lemur enclosure and parrot exhibits.
Please download the KultureCity App to access the park’s Social Story. This tool will assist with planning your trip to Broadway Zoological Park. Also, feel free to contact the park for more information on accessibility and accommodations using the Contact Us Form, or by phone during our regular business hours!
